Join the Friendship Center of Emmet County and help older adults continue living safely and independently in their own homes. This is a non-medical caregiving position focused on companionship, household support, and helping with everyday tasks that make a big difference.
What You'll Do
- Provide companionship and friendly conversation.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Help with grocery shopping and errands.
- Provide limited personal care assistance, such as bathing and grooming.
- Keep accurate documentation and communicate with our Client Services team.
- Build meaningful relationships while helping seniors remain independent.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys helping others.
- Has experience working with older adults (preferred).
- Is organized and able to work independently.
- Has reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- Can pass a criminal background check.
